Caroline is becoming more and more like a toddler every day. She likes to get into the buffet cabinet and break her Mom's crystal. She also likes to climb on top of things like a little monkey. I have no idea how she got so mobile so quickly.
She is also understanding many more words, but only says a few. She is starting to say animal sounds too. "What does a moo cow say?" "Muuuuuuuh" But I am most pleased that she is copying my burps. If I "accidentally" burp, she immediately says, "Uuuut!" I am so proud!
I hope there will be other Wharton families living near us in Rittenhouse Square. I would like to have babysitting groups nearby and have other kids for Caroline to play with.
On a separate note, annoying monopoly DeBeers finally pleading guilty to price fixing. The whole diamond industry is crazy if you ask me. There is no reason why a tiny piece of rock should cost $10,000 when there are 100 billion of them in the world. Plus there is all that craziness with diamond mining and trade. If only I could convince Shawn to hate them. Not likely. I wonder if natural diamonds will become more valuable or less valuable as diamond manufacturing is perfected.
