Today is Caroline's 7th week birthday and to celebrate she had to get her immunization shots. (4 of them). She was an excellent patient and only screamed for a few minutes. Today she weighs 9:9 and is 21 3/4 inches long. The doctor said she was in the 25% and was a petite girl. She has been having more quite alert time and is making such cute cooing sounds and is even smiling at us. She loves being in her swing and is happy most of the time. On Sunday, May 25th she slept through the night---from 11 pm to 5 am. What a wonderful treat that was---I feel so rested. During her 6th week she developed an eye infection from a blocked tear duct--and while the rash on her face is gone she now has a rash on her chest. Her hair is starting to come back in and it seems to be a light brown and her eyes are still blue. Everyone seems to think she looks like her daddy (JP) but every now and then someone will say she has my lips or chin. She is definitely my little princess!

JP and I are getting the hang of "family" life. We even had a friend babysit Caroline one evening so we could go see a movie (Amie Townley). We've been doing all of the necessary things. We started little Caroline's college fund and met with attorneys to write our Wills. On a lighter note, nursing has been a neat experience and at times comical. Caroline makes all sorts of noises when she's nursing and recently I met some girlfriends for lunch and during this time Caroline wanted to eat so I went to the ladies room and sat in the stall for privacy. While I was in the stall other customers would enter and exit the bathroom and one lady heard Caroline and started laughing. It was cute.

We are loving our little princess.
