The spring semester has kicked off at Wharton. But nearly everyone is more focused on summer internship than academics. A huge proportion of the interviews are occurring in about 2 weeks. I am excited and nervous. As a general rule, prior military officers do well in interviews because they have a great deal of leadership experience and specific examples of problem solving. Plus an interview story that starts with "One time, I was flying low over Albania..." is somewhat more interesting than "One time, I valued a stream of cash flows..." Personal bias on my part.

I miss not having the wife and baby around. She is taking the bar exam (wife not baby). The apartment is actually relatively clean and I am arguably eating pretty healthy. I finally found a Taco Bell in Philadelphia! But it is way on the other side of town, not convenient at all.

The Harvard president is in trouble again. It sort of reminds me of the old Jimmy the Greek comments. In other education news, FSU is trying to start a Chiropractic School.

Opposing professors have been circulating a parody map showing the campus of the future, with a new Bigfoot Institute, a School of Astrology and a Crop Circle Simulation Laboratory.
