Everything has been going very well with the baby so far. She eats well and poops plenty. Here's how the first 3 nights went:

1st night
We did not sleep a wink. With a combination of parents' nervousness and baby's crying, we were up all night until her 8 AM doctor's appointment the next day.

2nd night
Things went really well. We were up for about an hour every 3 hours to feed and change Caroline's diapers. We actually felt pretty well rested. Though it did take about 12 hours to get a full night's sleep.

3rd night
Sort of a combination of the first two nights. Caroline was sort of fussy. She seemed to want to eat every hour or so. I ended up getting her to speep on my chest for several hours in the middle of the night. She really likes sleeping on my chest at any hour. She looks so cute!

So now we're ready for our 4th night. Hopefully things will go well. We've learned a tight swaddling works well. Wish us luck!
