I got a fat packet in the mail today from Wharton. It contains information on matriculating and pre-term. I'm also supposed to take a math prep test to remind me how long it's been since I've done high level math. Calculus is just a distant, painful memory for me now.
I'm starting to think of which classes I might like to test out of. I used to think I ought to take every core class so I can get a solid MBA foundation. But every Wharton student I talk to says to test out of some classes. I probably could do without the Leadership course and maybe macro/micro economics. And who needs statistics? I think that quote goes, "There are 3 kinds of lies: lies, damn lies, and statistics."
I'm looking forward to accounting and finance. That statement officially makes me an MBA nerd. I'm curious what there is to know in finance beyond net present value and those interest formulas.
