Caroline had her 18 month check up today. She is not quite 18 months yet. She is in the 95% percentile for height and 30% percentile for weight. I think she may have an eating disorder. Not really. But she only wants to eat what Mom and Dad are eating. She also wants to copy what Mom and Dad do. If Mom is sweeping, Caroline wants to get out her little broom and sweep too. She also likes to spill her drink, say "uh oh," and then wipe it up with a rag. She also loves music and dancing.

Here are the words she says so far--I want to get them down before she gets older and we don't remember these days very well: Mommy, daddy, no (but not yes ironically), hat, nose, eyes, knee, teeth, ear, belly, hat, shoes, bath, milk, water, apple, cheese, more, book, car, bus, truck, baby, birdie, duck, doggie, choo-choo, walk, bye-bye, hi, book, light, paci, mooooo, quack-quack, baaaah, neigh, meow.

Here are the signs she knows and is slowly stopping their use: more, light, eat, drink, bath, diaper, toothbrush, milk, help, please, apple, book, all gone, hat, love, hug, baby, bird, music.
