John Kerry was in Philadelphia today. Like many big cities, Philly is a decidedly Democratic city. I would be afraid of putting up any sort of Bush 2004 sign for fear of getting my windows broken. Wharton on the other hand, like most business schools, is a bastion of capitalism--hence it's predominantly Republican.
I hate to say it, but I am somewhat apathetic about this presidential race. I wish I had a stronger opinion so I wouldn't sound like those people who always say, "It's the lesser of two evils in this election, all politicians are corrupt" or "It's the devil you know vs the devil you don't." I saw an article in the Wall Street Journal showing that the stock market has consistantly done better under Democrats than Republicans. But I wonder if that is just a lagging indicator in that when the economy is doing poorly, people vote Democratic just as it is starting to turn around.
