Caroline turned 2 this weekend. We had a birthday party at Gymboree with a bunch of little kids. Shawn's Mom and sister came in town for the weekend as well. Caroline is beginning to develop a personality. She is very outgoing and social with both kids and adults. She just started a phase where everything is "mine." It only happens with other kids at the park, etc. There is this brass goat statue in Rittenhouse Square where a lot of parents congregate with their toddlers. Caroline doesn't want any other kids to touch the goat. She says, "No, baby, my goat!" Then we say, "Caroline, you need to share." But it doesn't seem to have any effect. Hopefully it is just a phase.

Today I took Caroline to the Children's Please Touch Museum. We had a fun daddy-daughter day. Caroline liked playing the piano and pushing buttons to illuminate the traffic light. I carried her back on my shoulders while we both wore sunglasses and ate lollipops.
