This article reports that email spam costs businesses $2,000 per person annually. I think these recent rounds of worm viruses got me on some spam lists. Other people had my email in their address book and then their infected computer sent out all those emails. I never used to get spam on my home computer and only my friends had my email address. Now I get spam all the time. Outlook 2003 has a decent integrated spam filter though. I hope my lifetime Wharton email doesn't get on any spam lists.
