We signed on for another 2 years with Sprint PCS, much to my chagrin. I couldn't find any cell plans that came close to what we've got with Sprint. Right now, we get 2000 nationwide anytime minutes for 2 phones, free night and weekends, mobile internet, and picture share for $85. Plus most of our relatives have Sprint so those minutes are free. The service isn't the best, but I got good reception at Wharton and around Philly.

I also got a cool new phone. It is super tiny, so tiny it is somewhat uncomfortable to use. I can't imagine phones getting much smaller--I can barely hold on to the current ones with my big ape hands. I refuse to use fancy ringers. I pretty much hate it when somebody's purse starts playing "You can find me in the cluuub, bottle full of buuub..." and they always have the volume all the way up and don't answer the phone for like 30 seconds. So I usually keep my phone on vibrate.

On another note, I'm trying to decide if I should try to waive any first-term classes. I've had lots of economics and statistics, but I'm not sure how much I remember. If I get cold called on finding the macroeconomic equilibrium in an oligopoly, I am screwed. Plus I don't want to miss out on the "MBA experience" with my cohort. The class I would most want to waive is the leadership class. I had too many leadership classes at the Naval Academy, sharpen the saw and all that hooey. But it doesn't look like Wharton wants people to skip that one. If I don't waive classes, worst case scenario: I'll be bored, get a good grade, and have more socializing time. If I waive classes, worst case scenario: I'll be lost in future classes and fail out of Wharton. So it's a toss up.
